With a little exaggeration it is possible to describe cats with points as a mixture of the best of Russian blue cat and Siamese cat genes. We breed both races for several years. Therefore we suppose, that we are able to evaluate them objectively. After Siamese this cat is an individuality with inteligence, curious and likes to be the centre of attention. It has to be everywhere, where something is happening at home. It knows, how to require for attention, when it doesn't get it. Thanks to its Russian ancestors, these proporties are weakened, when you clearly expose it to it (now no), it is able to get adpted. Russian cats with points uses its vois for communication equaly often as a Siamese cats. Even this proporty is thanks to Russian blue cat, it is slighter and not so strong as it is with a Siamese cats.

Russian point cat is very kind and carasing, but in difference with Russian blue cat is trusty, even to foreigners (straingers). Thanks to Siamese cat the proporties of Russian point cat are not displayed, they don't mind voice and chaos. It is integrated, selfconfident and trusty cat, with a love for people and their presence. Equaly is open and friendly, even to other cats and dogs. Similarly as Russian blue cat this cat has positive relationship to water.The kittens are very active and playfull as Russian Blue cats, but become cool with age and develope a love for comfort. The adult individuals have a characteristic cool, nonconflict, selfconfident and kind proporties.

If you let this cat out freely, it is a handy hunter and thanks to its quality furs, able to spend hours outside. Even at a very low temperatures. Inspite of its rezistence to hard weather conditions it loves warmth and warme places, for instance heaters. But it likes most when it lies beside its owner under the blanket.

We have at home dog, Siamese cat, Russion blue cat, Russian point cat and it is necessary to mention that the interest of most of the visitors is concentrated on Russian point cat, thanks to its atractive view and willing proporties
